Uzbekistan, Austria to discuss bilateral ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Sixth session of the Austrian-Uzbek Joint Commission for Bilateral Economic Relations will be held in Vienna from 14 to 16 October 2013, the Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth said.

The Austrian side of the Joint Commission will be chaired by Director General for Foreign Economic Relations Mr. Franz Wessig and the Uzbek Side will be chaired by Mr. Shavkhat Tulaganov, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Investments and Trade.

According to the data of the Federal Ministry, the plenary session will take place on Tuesday, 15 October 2013.

During the plenary session, the sides will consider issues of cooperation in such areas as Energy, Agriculture, Tourism, Industry, Standardization, Construction Products and Social Housing.
