The corresponding decision was adopted at the SCO leaders’ summit in Yekaterinburg, Russia, which took place on 15-16 June.
In line with the decision, next summit of the SCO leaders will be held in Tashkent in 2010.
The SCO unites Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and China.
