Uzbekistan Approves Procedure for Compensating Costs of New Swimming Pool Construction
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has approved an Administrative Regulation establishing the procedure for providing state compensation for expenses related to the construction and commissioning of new modern swimming pools.
Under the regulation, compensation will cover costs incurred for the construction and launch of the first 100 swimming pools submitted by eligible applicants.
State support provides for reimbursement of up to 50 percent of the expenses for organizing a swimming pool, with a maximum of 100 million soums per facility. Funding will be available from 1 February 2026, through 1 January 2028.
To qualify for compensation, applicants must meet established requirements, including having no outstanding tax or fee obligations, not being in the process of reorganization or liquidation, not having temporarily suspended operations under the law, and not being declared insolvent by a court decision.
Applications for reimbursement are submitted to the Center for Public Services or electronically via the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services to the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Applicants must attach a copy of the pool’s project documentation, a copy of the construction and commissioning contract, and electronic documents confirming payments made under the contract.
Funds will be transferred to the applicant’s bank account within 10 business days from the date the Tourism Committee approves the reimbursement decision.
