Uzbekistan Approves Military Medical Education Rules

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has established procedures for fee-based contract education at the Military Medical Institute of the University of Military Security and Defense. The relevant departmental act was registered by the Ministry of Justice under No. 3808 on 8 April 2026.

The document regulates the organization of professional retraining and advanced training programs, as well as master’s degree studies and clinical residency at the institute on a paid basis.

Under the approved framework, retraining and professional development courses may be conducted either with or without interruption from employment. The educational process is based on approved curricula and training programs.

Courses are formed in accordance with allocation plans prepared by the commissioning organization and coordinated with the institute. Training is conducted on a contractual, fee-based basis.

Knowledge assessment includes intermediate and final examinations conducted in test format. Academic performance is evaluated using a 100-point grading system.

Upon completion of studies, participants who successfully pass retraining or advanced training programs are awarded a standardized certificate.
