Uzbekistan announces 2017 as Year of dialogue with people and human interests

Uzbekistan announced 2017 as the Year of dialogue with people and human interests. This was announced at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan, which is marked on 8 December. The event was held at Uzbekistan International Forums Palace on 7 December.
Speaking at the ceremony, Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev offered to name 2017 as the Year of dialogue with people and human interests, which was supported by the participants.
As reported earlier, 2016 was announced as the Year of Healthy Mother and Children and the Government approved special programme.
Uzbekistan plans to direct 7.483 trillion soums and US$194 million to implementation of the programme.
