Uzbekistan and WOOD & Company Discuss Support for Uzbek Firms Entering International Capital Markets
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the investment banking group WOOD & Company.
The talks, attended by Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and senior management of the company, focused on expanding cooperation in financial markets, infrastructure, real estate, and energy.
Founded in 1991 in Prague, WOOD & Company is one of the largest independent brokers in Central and Eastern Europe, specializing in investment advisory, equity and bond placements, and M&A transactions.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly develop projects and provide support to Uzbek companies seeking to access international capital markets, including the preparation and implementation of IPOs.
