Uzbekistan and Ukraine sign memorandum of understanding

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Service for Financial Monitoring of Ukraine and the Department for Combating Tax, Currency Crimes and Legalization of Criminal Incomes at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in countering the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, financing of terrorism and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

Within the framework of the document, the parties will exchange information on financial transactions that may be related to suspicion of legalization of proceeds from crime, financing of terrorism and financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
