Uzbekistan and Ukraine plan to resume direct flights

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Ukraine are planning to resume direct flights between two states by the end of this year, the Chairman of the State Committee for Development of Tourism of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov said.

Aziz Abdukhakimov said that in 2018 Uzbekistan plans to resume air communication with Ukraine. Flights will be carried out to Kiev.

The air authorities had already agreed resumption of flights, but the flights themselves were postponed for a time, he added.

Abdukhakimov added that the President gave a number of instructions for development of the tourism industry, including, among other things, air communication with Ukraine.

The head of the State Committee for Tourism said that the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Ukraine is fruitfully working in this direction.
