Uzbekistan and Türkiye Strengthen Cooperation in Telecommunications

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 December, Akram Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, held a working meeting with Ebubekir Şahin, CEO of the Turkish telecommunications company Türk Telekom.

During the discussion, both sides noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye has reached a new qualitative level in recent years, with economic, investment, and technological ties steadily expanding.

Special attention was given to potential joint investment projects, enhancing the competitiveness of the telecommunications market, and implementing advanced technologies.

The parties agreed to continue active collaboration aimed at implementing practical initiatives and strengthening technological partnership between the two countries.
