Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Mining and Geology of Uzbekistan Bobir Islamov held a meeting with Turkish Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Ahmet Berat Çonkar and Turkish Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ufuk Ulutaş.

During the talks, the parties discussed joint projects involving Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (MTA) and the Ministry of Geology, the favorable investment climate being fostered in Uzbekistan, and subsoil plots being offered to entrepreneurs through transparent auction procedures. The discussion also touched on the development of the education sector.

The two sides exchanged views on improving sectoral legislation, ongoing reforms, and strengthening international cooperation.
