Uzbekistan and Türkiye Discuss Expansion of Investments and Cooperation Online

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 December, an online dialogue took place between the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, the country’s Embassy in Türkiye, and representatives of the Turkish business community.

Participants included Özgür Onur Özgüven, Chairman of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations Türkiye–Uzbekistan (DEIK); board members of the Uzbekistan–Türkiye Entrepreneurs Association (UTID) led by Davut Azmi Erbaş; heads of MUSIAD and ASKON representations in Uzbekistan; as well as trade advisors from the Embassy of Türkiye in Tashkent.

The parties discussed the current state of economic cooperation, opportunities to expand Turkish investments in the Uzbek market, the implementation of joint projects and initiatives, and the improvement of the business environment and investment climate.

By the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to progressively develop interactions and strengthen cooperation in priority areas.
