Uzbekistan and Türkiye Discuss Expanding Business and Investment Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 October, a meeting was held in Tashkent between Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and a business delegation led by Nejati Bice, Chairman of the Zile Chamber of Commerce (Türkiye).
The discussions focused on ways to further develop cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, expand investment opportunities, and explore Uzbekistan’s business environment.
The parties exchanged views on enhancing Uzbekistan’s production potential, establishing joint ventures, and developing supply channels for products.
The delegations also shared information on current needs and opportunities in the country’s agricultural and industrial sectors. Particular attention was given to the potential for developing dairy and poultry production, auto parts manufacturing, and agricultural machinery.
Opportunities for implementing new joint projects, introducing modern technologies, and strengthening cooperation were discussed, aiming to create new platforms for interaction between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain regular contact and organize business missions and cooperative meetings to strengthen practical collaboration.
