Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The first meeting of the Joint Working Commission on Labor and Employment was held with the participation of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for deepening cooperation in areas such as labor inspection, employment promotion, vocational training, and the development of micro-initiatives.

As a result of the discussions, the parties agreed to introduce mobile laboratories to assess working conditions based on Turkish experience, organize advanced training for labor inspectors, digitize the activities of inspection services, and expand collaboration between vocational skills centers in both countries.

Special attention was given to the development of a national qualifications system, including the creation of professional standards, training programs, qualification assessment mechanisms, and the analysis of progress in joint work in this area.

At the end of the meeting, a Joint Action Plan was approved for implementation in 2025–2026.
