Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- 4 March 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkey. On the occasion of this event, the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries, Abdulaziz Kamilov and Mevlut Cavusoglu, exchanged congratulatory messages. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Abdulaziz Kamilov’s letter notes that in recent years, the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey has noticeably intensified.

“I am sure that thanks to our joint efforts, the ties of our friendship will continue to consistently develop and expand,” the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry emphasizes.

In turn, Mevlut Cavusoglu writes that Uzbekistan, which has rich natural resources and human capital, vast experience in statehood and significant cultural heritage, has demonstrated high rates of socio-economic development in recent years.

 “Uzbekistan is a guide and source of inspiration for stability and prosperity in the region. Turkey will continue to be in solidarity with Uzbekistan in its decisive steps towards a brighter future,” the Turkish Foreign Minister said in a letter.
