Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Citizens of the two countries, who are fully rooted in their homeland will be able to freely visit both Turkey and Uzbekistan.
The authorities of Uzbekistan and Turkey have agreed on the mutual recognition of national certificates of vaccination against COVID-19.
According to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Service of Uzbekistan, the new rules will be in effect from 15 March.
Uzbek citizens who have received a certificate in their homeland of having completed a full course of vaccination against coronavirus will be able to freely enter Turkey.
The same procedure will apply to Turkish citizens visiting Uzbekistan.
