Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A US interdepartmental delegation led by US Assistant Secretary of Defense Christopher Maier visited Uzbekistan.

US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum noted on Twitter that he took part in negotiations between the Government of Uzbekistan and the US delegation.

According to him, the parties discussed issues of border security and further development of cooperation.

“Very glad to participate in productive talks on bilateral cooperation and to discuss border security the pass few days with the Government of Uzbekistan during the visit of an interagency delegation led by Assistant Secretary of Defense Chris Maier,” the US Ambassador wrote.
