Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held talks with Eric Meyer, Acting U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation. Special attention was given to enhancing educational and cultural exchanges, including plans to deepen partnerships with American universities and academic institutions.

Discussions also focused on strengthening trade and economic ties and expanding support for women. The Uzbek side shared its experience implementing national programs aimed at promoting women’s entrepreneurship and ensuring transparent access to financial resources.

Saida Mirziyoyeva expressed gratitude to the U.S. side for its consistent support and constructive dialogue, noting her confidence that even greater joint achievements lie ahead.
