Uzbekistan and the UAE Strengthen Parliamentary Dialogue and Oversight of Bilateral Agreement Implementation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted an online meeting between members of the Oliy Majlis interparliamentary cooperation group and representatives of the Parliament of the United Arab Emirates.

During the session, the sides discussed the development of dialogue between the parliaments of both countries and explored prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, investment, education, tourism, and other areas.

It was noted that the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE continue to develop steadily thanks to the political will of the leaders of both nations, forming a strong foundation for the implementation of joint initiatives and the deepening of partnership.

Participants paid particular attention to strengthening parliamentary oversight of the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further enhance the work of the interparliamentary group and outlined plans for practical cooperation.
