Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Expand Cooperation in Tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road,” a working meeting was held with the Chairman of Tajikistan’s Tourism Development Committee, Jamshed Jumakhonzoda.

The discussions focused on current areas of bilateral cooperation, including the development of joint tourism routes, simplifying travel conditions between the two countries, and promoting the region as a unified tourism space.

The parties also addressed the expansion of cooperation between private tour companies.

Special attention was given to workforce training, the exchange of experience, and coordination within the framework of international tourism events.

Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their commitment to continuing active cooperation and launching new initiatives aimed at increasing mutual tourist flows and strengthening collaboration in the tourism sector.
