Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Expand Cooperation Between IT Parks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a visit to Dushanbe, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, conducted a familiarization tour of IT-Park Dushanbe, located in the capital of Tajikistan.

The delegation was presented with information on the park’s establishment, its main focus areas, the conditions offered to resident companies, and the ongoing reforms in Tajikistan aimed at developing the information technology sector.

Participants also observed the park’s activities in supporting youth and startups, training qualified IT specialists, implementing innovative solutions, and expanding cooperation with the private sector.

During the visit, discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between the IT parks of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, organizing joint startup and incubation programs, and creating a supportive environment for IT companies.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to implement joint projects in the field of information technology, exchange expertise, and establish a permanent platform for collaboration between the IT parks of the two countries.
