Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discuss delimitation and demarcation of state borders

On 6-8 March 2018, working groups of government delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on the delimitation and demarcation of the State Border held meetings in Dushanbe. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
The parties prepared and formalized the necessary annexes to the draft agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan on certain sections of the Uzbek-Tajik State Border.
It is expected that the agreement will be signed during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan. Recall that the head of Uzbekistan will visit Tajikistan from 9 to 10 March 2018.
Following the meeting, the Protocol was signed.
