Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Working groups of government delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the Joint Tajik-Uzbek Demarcation Commission held a meeting in Samarkand from 20 to 27 September.

The delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discussed the demarcation work on the line of the Tajik-Uzbek state border.

The parties considered the results of the field work carried out on the Tajik-Uzbek State Border and agreed to continue them in order to prepare the project demarcation line.

The delegations agreed to hold the next meeting of the working groups on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed.
