Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held between the leadership of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Sofia Oestmark, Director of the Migration Department at the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Sweden.

During a constructive and substantive dialogue, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral and long-term cooperation in the field of international migration.

The discussion focused on enhancing mechanisms for cooperation in the area of organized labor migration, as well as ensuring the legal and social protection of Uzbek citizens working abroad.

Particular emphasis was placed on expanding legal employment channels and improving the regulatory framework to ensure transparent and secure migration conditions.
