Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 April, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Shokhrukh Gulamov, who is currently visiting the United Arab Emirates as part of an Uzbek working group, held talks with Aymen Abdelbari, the head of Sura Holding.

The two sides discussed the company’s ongoing projects in Uzbekistan, including the operation of agro-clusters focused on growing, sorting, and packaging fruits for export to the UAE and other countries in the Middle East.

The talks also addressed potential investments by the company in new projects related to fruit cultivation and export, taking into account both the expansion of operations in various regions of Uzbekistan and the broadening of export destinations.

Sura Holding’s agro-industrial facilities will be integrated into a monitoring platform developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture. This platform will enable real-time tracking of the implementation of investment projects and will be presented at the Central Asia–Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit, which is set to take place on 5 May in Samarkand.
