Uzbekistan and South Korea Sign Protocol on Development of Joint Innovation Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 October, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan between Alisher Mursaliev, Director of the Department, and a delegation from the South Korean organization InnoBiz Association Korea, led by Director Seung Kyu Oh.

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for cooperation in the fields of innovation, digitalization, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the implementation of joint projects aimed at developing technological potential and exchanging experience between enterprises of the two countries.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a Protocol of Intent, which provides for the development of joint innovation projects, support for startups, and the strengthening of partnership ties between Uzbekistan and the InnoBiz Association of the Republic of Korea.

InnoBiz Association is a technological innovation association for small and medium-sized enterprises in South Korea, established with the support of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of the country. It brings together innovative companies, promotes the adoption of advanced technologies, supports export development, and enhances business competitiveness. InnoBiz certification confirms a high technological level of an enterprise and provides access to government support programs.

The association also actively implements scientific and technical projects, develops international cooperation, and promotes environmentally sustainable solutions.
