Uzbekistan and South Korea Discuss New Projects in Energy, Tourism, and Industry
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 July 2025, Tashkent hosted the Uzbekistan–South Korea Business Forum, which brought together more than one hundred representatives from business communities and government agencies of both countries.
The event was held as part of the official visit of a delegation from the South Korean city of Ulsan.
Participants were presented with detailed information about Uzbekistan’s investment potential, highlighting promising sectors such as energy, electrical engineering, tourism, and other industries.
Discussions focused on measures to encourage joint initiatives and deepen production cooperation between entrepreneurs from both nations.
A key component of the forum was a series of B2B and B2G meetings, where business and government representatives engaged in direct dialogue and explored specific forms of collaboration.
The forum concluded with the signing of a multilateral cooperation agreement in the field of green energy, marking an important step toward developing sustainable and innovative areas of bilateral partnership.
