Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Oybek Shakhavdinov held talks in Ljubljana with Maja Božovič, Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Slovenia, the Dunyo news agency reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between relevant institutions of both countries to effectively implement the bilateral agenda. It was noted that Uzbekistan and Slovenia are committed to strengthening political dialogue, expanding economic partnerships, and deepening cultural and humanitarian ties.

The Slovenian side expressed the Prime Minister’s Office’s readiness to intensify collaboration with Uzbekistan across all areas of mutual interest.

Additionally, both sides agreed to expedite the process of finalizing bilateral agreements currently under review by Tashkent and Ljubljana, aiming to sign them during upcoming visits at various levels.

Following the talks, participants expressed confidence that further engagement would significantly contribute to strengthening Uzbekistan-Slovenia cooperation and provide fresh momentum for the development of their partnership.
