Uzbekistan and SLB Strengthen Partnership to Implement AI in Oil and Gas Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Leadership of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” held a meeting with representatives of SLB to discuss the progress and results of joint projects in key areas of cooperation.

Special attention was given to the ongoing implementation of the Field Management Agreement (FMA) in the Ustyurt region and the Master Service Agreement (MSA) for oilfield services, as well as plans for their further practical application.

As a result of the talks, three contracts were signed aimed at introducing digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies into the company’s operations. One of these contracts involves the use of generative AI (GenAI) technologies, which will significantly enhance the efficiency of analyzing and applying production and geological data.

The meeting continued agreements reached during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the United States, during which Uzbekneftegaz held negotiations with leading international companies, including SLB.

Both sides confirmed their readiness to further strengthen the partnership and jointly implement strategic initiatives in digitalization, innovation, and sustainable development of Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industry.
