Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 May 2025, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Minister of Economy and Finance, Jamshid Kuchkarov, held a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese company Shandong Swan Cotton Machinery, headed by Chairman Wang Xinting.

The meeting focused on the potential implementation of joint projects aimed at advancing agricultural mechanization in Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek side presented current efforts to promote the purchase of agricultural machinery, including cotton harvesting equipment, and the expansion of leasing-based financing mechanisms.

The Chinese delegation, in turn, provided an overview of Shandong Swan Cotton Machinery’s operations and international projects. With a 70-year track record, the company specializes in the production of cotton harvesting and processing machinery, exporting its products to 37 countries.

Delegation members expressed strong interest in launching collaborative projects in Uzbekistan’s cotton sector, emphasizing that the company’s cotton harvesters meet global standards and are competitive in terms of quality on the international market.

As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to gradually establish practical cooperation in the field of agricultural mechanization.
