Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Servicemen of special forces of the Central Military District (CMD) of Russia arrived in Uzbekistan.
The Russian military arrived in Termez to participate in a joint tactical and special exercise. In the exercise, which will be held from 9 to 12 December, from the Russian side, special forces from the Central Military District from Samara and Novosibirsk regions are involved.
During the drawing of the active phase, the military personnel of Russia and Uzbekistan will conduct a joint operation behind the lines of the imaginary enemy.
The military will carry out landing from helicopters, reconnaissance and search operations, evacuation of groups after completing the assignment, as well as work out the protection and defense of critical facilities and countering sabotage groups.
