Uzbekistan and Russia hold consultations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia led by deputy director of Consular Department Andrei Frolov held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 23 September 2015, the press service of foreign political body of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

At the talks, the sides considered actual issues of the Uzbek-Russian relations in consular sphere. In line with the programme of cooperation between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia for 2015, the officials discussed practical aspects of protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens of two states in territory of each other, legal aid to civil, family and criminal cases, as well as execution of bilateral agreements.

The delegation also exchanged information on changes to legislation of Uzbekistan and Russia in this sphere, which came into force.
