Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 31 October, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Agrippina Shin, Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov with the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation in the field of preschool and public education, as well as a wide range of issues related to the implementation of joint projects “Kid” (“Mittivoi”), “Turnkey team of teachers” and “Class!” ("Zur!").
In this context, the importance of intensifying the work of the Branch of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen in Tashkent, which is the base platform for ongoing projects, was underlined.
In his opening speech, the head of the Russian delegation emphasized that Russia is striving to build up a mutually beneficial partnership with the Republic of Uzbekistan in various areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including interaction in the field of public and preschool education
Particular attention of representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation was paid to the search for new points of contact in the possible study of advanced initiatives and innovative ideas of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of preschool education.
As part of the negotiations, the Russian minister also showed great interest in organizing and holding the "Second World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education", which will be held under the auspices of UNESCO in the city of Tashkent, from 14 to 16 November 2022. The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation once again confirmed his participation at the conference and stated that the Russian side would take the most active part and make its worthy contribution during the upcoming international forum.
Members of the Russian delegation visited a comprehensive school in the city of Tashkent No. 5, a preschool educational organization in the city of Tashkent No. 559, a branch of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after. A.I. Herzen in Tashkent, as well as the site of the future campus of the branch.
