Uzbekistan and Reliance Industries agree on digital infrastructure development and strategic projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 April, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shokhrukh Gulamov held talks with Prasad Panda, CEO of Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries.
The meeting focused on prospects for implementing joint projects in managing large-scale telecommunications networks, developing modern digital infrastructure, and introducing advanced high-speed communication and data transmission technologies in Uzbekistan.
Special attention was also given to initiatives in the mining and energy sectors, which hold strong potential for strategic partnership.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed on concrete steps to establish active cooperation aimed at the practical implementation of the outlined projects.
Founded in 1966 and led by Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries is one of India’s largest corporations. The company operates across sectors including energy, petrochemicals, retail, telecommunications, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.
