Uzbekistan and Primorsky Krai discuss deeper industrial cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 May 2025, a meeting took place in Uzbekistan between Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov and a delegation of business representatives from Russia’s Primorsky Krai, led by Anastasia Prodan, Executive Director of the Far East Entrepreneurs Club.
Participants emphasized the positive momentum in trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, noting the successful hosting of the fifth international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” in Tashkent.
The negotiations focused primarily on deepening industrial cooperation. In particular, the two sides discussed prospects for collaboration in sectors such as electrical engineering, building materials production, the food industry, wholesale trade, automotive manufacturing, and the textile industry.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to establish cooperation in the production of elevators and construction materials, as well as to organize regular exchanges of market information, including updates on upcoming exhibitions and trade fairs.
