Uzbekistan and Poland celebrate 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations
President of Poland Andrzej Duda said in his message said: “I would like to express my satisfaction with the fact that the relations between our countries are at a very good level.”
He said that Poland recognizes Uzbekistan as an important partner in the Eurasian region and respects achievements of the authorities of Uzbekistan in construction of independent state.
Andrzej Duda said that Poland observes with interest policy, pursued by the President in relation to neighboring states. He said he is confident that such policy of good-neighborhood relations will be an important contribution to further strengthening stability in the Central Asian region.
President of Poland assured that Poland expressed much attention to development of bilateral economic contacts and noted the great potential in this area.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with satisfaction noted friendly and constructive relations between two nations, which are based on firm traditional friendship and mutual understanding.
Uzbek leader said that Uzbekistan is committed to further expansion of mutual beneficial practical cooperation with Poland in political-diplomatic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as promote concrete programmes and projects in such areas as trade, agriculture, investment and innovation, tourism and other directions.
President of Uzbekistan expressed assurance that the sides will continue joint work on deepening relations between two states and strengthening their firm foundation based on principles of mutual respect, equality and trust.
