Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 June, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saydov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayid Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi.

During the discussion, the parties reviewed pressing issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, emphasizing the high pace and growing potential of Uzbek-Omani relations, which are currently developing at an unprecedented rate.

Special attention was given to the regional situation.

The ministers expressed mutual concern over the rising tensions amid the Israeli-Iranian conflict, noting the possible risks and consequences for security and stability in the broader geopolitical context.
