Uzbekistan and Korea Sign Memorandum on Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a working visit to the Republic of Korea, the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Korean organization K-NBIRT (Korea National Biotech Research & Innovation Technology).
The document is aimed at expanding bilateral scientific and technical cooperation, supporting innovative projects in the fields of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and enhancing workforce qualifications.
Cooperation will be carried out across several key areas: the exchange of scientific research in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology; organization of educational programs and training for specialists from both countries; implementation of joint scientific projects, technology transfer, and innovative developments; development of laboratory infrastructure and sharing of best practices.
The parties emphasized that the memorandum establishes a platform to strengthen scientific collaboration, improve the quality of professional training, and promote the introduction of innovations in Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
