Uzbekistan and KEXIM discuss prospects for joint projects in the mining sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan Feruza Khamidova held a meeting on 5 March 2026 with representatives of the Tashkent office of the Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM), together with officials from the ministry.

During the talks, the parties discussed the implementation of bilateral cooperation and the attraction of investment into the country’s mining and geological sectors.

They also exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation aimed at strengthening the resilience of international supply chains for strategic mineral resources.
