The main goal of the event was to compare 2025 trade data, discuss methodologies for compiling foreign trade statistics, and identify causes of discrepancies in reported figures.

During the meeting, specialists from both countries conducted a detailed analysis of trade flows, examined factors contributing to differences in statistical data, and addressed issues related to timely detection of violations in foreign trade to ensure data reliability.

Experts also shared experiences and best practices for compiling customs statistics.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain regular data exchanges on customs statistics and systematic comparisons of bilateral trade indicators, formalized through a signed Protocol.

This cooperation aims to enhance transparency in foreign trade operations, strengthen trust in statistical data, and further develop economic relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
