Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Agree on Close Coordination of Foreign Policy Agenda

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 January, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov.

The sides discussed strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, which are based on mutual trust, good-neighbourly principles, and shared interests.

Following the meeting, it was noted that the foreign ministries of both countries will continue close coordination on bilateral and multilateral agendas to ensure the consistent and forward-looking development of their partnership.
