Uzbekistan and Italy Outline New Phase of Cooperation in Migration

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Behzod Musayev, Head of the Uzbekistan Migration Agency, held a working meeting with the newly appointed Italian Ambassador to Tashkent, Guido De Sanctis, during which both sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral projects.

The discussion focused primarily on the systematic and legal involvement of Uzbek citizens in seasonal agricultural work in Italy, as well as the creation of educational programs and specialized schools to prepare specialists for work abroad.

The Italian side expressed readiness to provide full support for the implementation of these initiatives, including language and professional training.

Following the meeting, both parties agreed to develop concrete practical plans aimed at expanding cooperation in migration and strengthening the legal and organizational framework of joint projects.
