Uzbekistan and Italy Outline New Areas of Cooperation in Agriculture

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Rome, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, held a meeting with the leadership of one of Italy’s leading agro-industrial companies, Bonifiche Ferraresi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture, the development of the fertilizer and seed production systems, the modernization of the agro-industrial sector in rural regions, as well as the implementation of joint investment projects.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation between Bonifiche Ferraresi and Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector, as well as to implement joint projects based on modern solutions.
