Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 December 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov in Delhi held negotiations with the Minister of External Affairs of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the two countries exchanged views on priority issues of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
The parties noted with satisfaction the new dynamics in bilateral relations, which is the result of the regular dialogue between the leaders of Uzbekistan and India.
The ministers reviewed the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels. It was proposed to hold regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries in Delhi in 2022.
The constructive interaction of the parties within the framework of the UN, SCO and other international organizations was noted with satisfaction.
A thorough exchange of views took place on the current situation in Afghanistan, including on the provision of humanitarian assistance to the country.
