Uzbekistan and Hungary Discuss Expanding Cooperation Within International Parliamentary Organizations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 21 January, in the Senate, Bahrom Abdullaev, Chairman of the Oliy Majlis Committee on Science, Education, and Healthcare, and Alisher Agzamkhodzhaev, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investments, and Tourism, held a meeting with József Roj, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
Special attention was given to enhancing interparliamentary contacts, exchanging experience in education, trade, economy, and investment, as well as expanding cooperation within international parliamentary organizations.
Additionally, the participants developed a number of proposals to advance economic diplomacy, attract investments, and strengthen collaboration in the field of labor migration.
An agreement was reached to implement joint projects and initiatives aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
