Uzbekistan and Hungary Discuss Development of Digital Infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 November, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, met with a Hungarian delegation led by Extraordinary Ambassador and Chairman of 4iG Gellért Jászai to discuss prospects for international business cooperation.

The parties explored opportunities for collaboration in the telecommunications sector, including infrastructure modernization, improving service quality, and enhancing the efficiency of industry asset management. Particular attention was paid to the adoption of modern technologies and international best practices to accelerate digital transformation.

The company 4iG confirmed its readiness to actively participate in developing Uzbekistan’s IT infrastructure, implementing innovative solutions, expanding outsourcing capabilities, and supporting workforce development. Opportunities for partnership under the national program “Digital Uzbekistan 2030” were also discussed.

Following the meeting, both sides expressed interest in strengthening cooperation and implementing joint projects aimed at the country’s sustainable technological development.
