Uzbekistan and Greece Agree to Boost Trade, Economic Cooperation, and Business Contacts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, held a working meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Uzbekistan, Paraskevi Tseveleki.

The discussions focused on ways to expand trade and economic cooperation and to activate direct contacts between the business communities of both countries. The parties emphasized the importance of increasing the number of joint projects and creating new opportunities for business development.

It was noted that in September of this year, a Greek business delegation is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan, during which a joint business forum and B2B meetings are planned. These events will provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to establish direct contacts and reach practical agreements.

During the meeting, information was also presented on Uzbekistan’s investment potential, priority sectors of the economy, and existing conditions for implementing joint projects.

Following the negotiations, both sides expressed their readiness to elevate business cooperation to a new level and agreed to continue joint efforts to implement the initiatives discussed.
