Uzbekistan and Germany’s Foreign Ministers Discuss Expansion of Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 December in Vienna, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council.

The two sides noted the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the partnership.

The talks focused on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, green energy, vocational education, and connectivity.

The ministers discussed promising areas of economic cooperation and measures to enhance the resilience of supply chains.

Saidov and Wadephul also exchanged views on key international and regional issues, addressed current challenges in security and sustainable development, and aligned their approaches to upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
