Uzbekistan and Germany Strengthen Cooperation in Textile and Fashion Industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the textile and fashion industry is reaching a new level.

A meeting was held in Tashkent between representatives of the Uzbek Textile Industry Association  and the German organization Gesamtmasche, focusing on the results of the GUZ Partners project (2023–2025) and plans for future collaboration.

Within the framework of the project, 25 training seminars and 8 specialized events were conducted, attended by over 2,000 industry professionals to enhance their skills and expertise.

Special emphasis was placed on organizing business missions: German companies visited Uzbekistan, while representatives of the Uzbek textile industry traveled to Germany. During the meeting, the Uzbek side expressed gratitude to German partners for their consistent and productive cooperation.

The GUZ Partners project aims to train skilled personnel for the textile industry, strengthen the international image of Uzbekistan’s sector, and enhance its export potential, thereby creating new opportunities for business development and professional growth of specialists.
