Uzbekistan and Germany discuss expansion of legal framework for bilateral cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 July 2018, the legal services of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Germany held consultations in Berlin.
The parties discussed prospects for expanding the legal framework for bilateral cooperation, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The delegation of Germany was headed by the Director of the Department of International Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Guido Hildner.
The meeting identified areas of cooperation that require settlement through the formation of the necessary legal framework. Special attention was paid to issues of concluding relevant documents in the field of strengthening political interaction, development of transport and tourism, enhancing ties in the field of education, environmental protection.
Taking into account the solid contractual and legal framework established between the two countries, the parties came to a common opinion on the need to carry out an inventory of signed documents and implement it on a phased basis.
