Uzbekistan and France Discuss Cooperation on Social Protection for People with Disabilities
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan held an online meeting with the General Secretariat of the Interministerial Committee on Disability Affairs under the Prime Minister of France, the Dunyo news agency reported.
During the discussions, the parties addressed issues related to social protection for people with disabilities, including employment, participation in educational programs, integration into the labor market, and improvements to legislation and institutional mechanisms in this area.
The French side confirmed its readiness for close cooperation and active involvement in implementing joint projects.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue regular expert-level consultations, develop a Memorandum of Understanding, and organize mutual visits to exchange practical experience.
